Compensation: $40–$50/hour | DOE

A kind and sophisticated part-time Personal Assistant is sought to support a lovely, well-traveled senior woman in her private home. The client enjoys a calm and quiet environment, values discretion, and appreciates those who take time to understand her preferences. This is a fantastic role for a seasoned private service professional who is organized, proactive, thoughtful, and patient.
Our client has early-stage Alzheimer’s and needs assistance tracking various details related to the management of her home and personal life. Her adult children live nearby and will be available to provide information and support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Support
Home & Lifestyle Management

Manage calendars, appointments, and social engagements

Create and maintain seasonal home maintenance schedules (e.g., HVAC servicing, battery checks, etc.)

Oversee vendors, household supplies, and groceries (including fresh food checks, refrigerator and pantry management, and organization)

Light housekeeping tasks as needed (sanitizing kitchen countertops and frequently used utensils/small appliances, running the dishwasher, wiping the outdoor table, etc.)

Assist with occasional light gardening or outdoor tidying (e.g., sweeping, color garden selection, watering plants)

Manage laundry items that need to be cleaned on an occasional basis (jackets, sweaters); take items to the dry cleaners as needed

No personal care or deep cleaning required (cleaners visit twice monthly)

Holiday assistance (light holiday decorations set up and take down, Christmas cards)

Assist with occasional light gardening or outdoor tidying (e.g., sweeping, color garden selection, watering plants)
Social & Errand Support

Help with sending correspondence and gifting

Schedule lunches and help with any preparation needed for upcoming events with family and friends

Knowledge of local shops and retail is a plus (regular outings to the principal’s favorite spots)

Requirements
- Experience supporting senior principals

Tech-savvy and capable of managing basic scheduling, communication, and organizational tools
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Native English speakers preferred

Must have a reliable, late-model vehicle in excellent condition, suitable for transporting to appointments and running errands in a professional and comfortable manner

Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

Willing to undergo a thorough background check and provide stellar references from past employers

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform tasks that may involve sitting, standing, and climbing stairs
