A long-term housekeeper with one of our families in Atherton, California is retiring after 11 wonderful years! As a result, we are looking to hire a dedicated, experienced Housekeeper to join the household. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday from 12:30pm to 8:30pm and assist with regular cleaning duties, as well as support the family’s chef with meal preparation, plating, serving, and kitchen cleanup during and after dinner.
We are seeking a dependable and experienced individual who can deliver exceptional care and service to the family. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a fantastic environment with a supportive team already in place!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning, washing dishes, making beds, laundry, ironing, and general upkeep of the home.
- Assist with setting and clearing the dinner table.
- Help the family’s chef with plating food, serving meals, and post-dinner kitchen cleanup.
- Ensure a tidy and organized household throughout the day.
- Be comfortable around the family’s two dogs and provide light pet care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a private home is required.
- Must be comfortable and experienced in serving a family during meals.
- English-speaking proficiency is required.
- Ability to manage laundry, ironing, and household cleaning with attention to detail.
- Comfortable around dogs and able to assist with their care.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- Must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and provide verifiable references.
Compensation:
- Up to $45 per hour | DOE
