Job Title: Full-Time Groundskeeper
Location: Private Estate – Utah
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Compensation: Competitive salary $125+/ PTO/ Sick pay
Reports to: Director of Residences
Position Summary:
The Groundskeeper is responsible for the daily upkeep, preservation, and aesthetic maintenance of a 15-acre private estate in Utah, which includes landscaped grounds, gardens, hardscapes, and animal care areas. This hands-on role requires both independent execution and collaboration with farm staff and vendors, with clear accountability to the Director of Residences and estate leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Landscape & Property Maintenance
• Maintain all outdoor areas including lawns, gardens, pathways, driveways, and water features
• Mow, edge, fertilize, weed, and irrigate lawns and beds regularly
• Prune trees, hedges, and shrubs to maintain healthy growth and desired aesthetics
• Clear debris, leaves, and snow (seasonally) from walkways, driveways, and patios
• Monitor plant health and coordinate pest or disease treatment as needed
• Oversee seasonal planting, mulching, and aeration cycles
Farm & Animal Oversight
• Support care for estate animals (e.g., goats, chickens, dogs, etc.) with feeding, grooming, health monitoring, and shelter upkeep
• Supervise or assist designated farm staff in routine animal care and stable/barn maintenance
• Ensure all animal enclosures, fencing, water systems, and feed supplies are regularly maintained
General Grounds Infrastructure
• Maintain irrigation systems; monitor water usage and troubleshoot any malfunctions
• Conduct basic maintenance on property gates, fencing, outdoor lighting, and signage
• Manage outdoor equipment (e.g., tractors, blowers, mowers, ATVs), including fueling and routine servicing
• Report any structural or system deficiencies to the Director of Residences promptly
Team Collaboration & Communication
• Coordinate daily and seasonal priorities with the Director of Residences
• Provide clear task lists and oversight to part-time farm help and contractors
• Participate in regular property walk-throughs and leadership meetings as needed
• Adhere to the estate’s protocol, dress code, and chain of command at all times
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or estate maintenance
• Prior experience working on large private properties or with agricultural environments preferred
• Basic knowledge of animal husbandry and equipment safety
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and observant of detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding outdoor work in all seasons

This role is based entirely onsite at a private estate in Utah. The property is a high-end, discreet, and professionally managed residence with a strong culture of teamwork, integrity, and accountability. Confidentiality and respect for the household’s privacy are essential.
