Private Property Manager / Personal Assistant
Location: Johns Island, South Carolina
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Compensation: Highly Competitive – Based on Experience
We are looking for someone with experience managing contractors, maintaining the upkeep of the property, getting quotes, scheduling, laundry, light housekeeping, and someone who is hands-on and ready to hit the ground running. The family values privacy and is looking for someone to bring organization, efficiency, and a personal touch to their home life. You should be adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with a warm and approachable demeanor. Support the family in personal tasks and logistics, ensuring a seamless daily routine.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage communication with contractors, vendors, and service providers; oversee home projects and maintenance schedules.
- Working closely with the landscaper and nanny to make sure the owner’s needs are being met.
- Someone with good attention to detail who is able to pick up on things that need to be serviced, maintained or fixed.
- Perform household tasks such as laundry (including care for delicate items), wardrobe management, bed-making, and light tidying.
- Maintain inventory of household essentials and create shopping lists as needed.
- Provide general personal assistance, including errands, scheduling, and logistics support.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar private household or personal assistant role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and initiative in identifying and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of proper laundry techniques, including care for fine fabrics.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
- Respect for privacy and professional discretion at all times.
