A professional, dual-career family in Los Feliz is seeking a dependable, nurturing, and highly organized full-time nanny/family assistant to care for their joyful and curious toddler (2 years old) while managing the family’s day-to-day household needs. This position is perfect for someone experienced with toddlers, proactive, and confident running a dynamic household independently. The family values someone warm, reliable, and detail-oriented, who is comfortable supporting both child development and home management. Their bright and curious daughter is currently making wonderful progress through speech, occupational, and sensory therapies. The ideal candidate will reinforce therapy strategies with consistency and patience, and be open to or experienced in working with neurodiverse children. A calm, communicative, and supportive approach is key.
DUTIES:
Childcare & Development:
- Provide loving, attentive care throughout the day
- Support development through literacy, music, art, and outdoor play
- Transport to and from classes and therapy
- Manage hygiene: diapering, potty training, grooming
- Rotate toys/books to promote engagement
Therapy & Educational Support:
- Collaborate with therapists to reinforce strategies
- Use gestures, verbal modeling, and sign language
- Encourage emotional regulation through gentle guidance
Household Management:
- Child laundry weekly; family laundry once/week (4 loads max)
- Prepare meals/snacks for their daughter (family meal 1x/week optional)
- Daily tidying of kitchen, play, and shared spaces
- Manage trash/recycling and supply restocking
- Occasionally coordinate repairs/deliveries
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, one night a week you would stay until 8:30pm and one weekend day is needed twice a month. Flexibility is essential to accommodate occasional changes, evening coverage, and travel support
COMPENSATION
- $30-$35/hour DOE
- 2 weeks paid vacation

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years toddler care or nanny experience with glowing references
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable car for transportation
- Energetic and Active
- Up to date on TDAP and MMR Vaccinations
