We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Chef to work with a family in New York City, with summer travel to the Hamptons and additional travel 3-4 times per year. The ideal candidate will prepare daily meals, cater to the family’s dietary preferences, and occasionally handle larger gatherings. Flexibility with travel and location is required, as the chef will be based in the Hamptons during the summer. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of culinary experience, whether from private homes, yachts, or top-tier restaurants. Strong skills in plating, presentation, and the ability to take and implement feedback are essential for success in this role. Candidates must possess the ability to "read the room," knowing when to communicate with the client and when to remain in the background. The role requires someone comfortable working behind the scenes, focused on executing the client's culinary vision with the support of an awesome household team.
- Local NYC candidates are preferred but will consider out of area candidates
- Start Date: ASAP after interviews and trials
- Compensation: $170,000++ per year | DOE plus full benefits
