Rota Nanny

| Silicon Valley, CA, United States

Posted Date 9/17/2024
Description

A Bay Area family is seeking a mature, warm, and professional Rota Nanny for their two young children, ages 3.5 and 1.5. The ideal candidate is experienced, confident, and knowledgeable, with a willingness to work holidays and travel as needed. The role requires a self-starter with recent infant and toddler experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work seamlessly with co-nannies and parents. The nanny should be highly organized, systems-oriented, and knowledgeable about developmental milestones, especially fine motor skills. Creating age-appropriate activities and deferring to the parents' child-rearing preferences is essential.

During the 7-day on schedule, the nanny will live in the family’s home, with a private bedroom and bathroom provided. They will be responsible for the children during the night if needed, though this is rare.

Key qualities our client is looking for include emotional maturity, adaptability, warmth, and tech-savviness. The family uses platforms like Google Calendar and Asana for communication and activity tracking. The ability to multitask, handle changing schedules, and maintain a calm demeanor is essential. Discretion, confidentiality, and a focus on safety are paramount.

Please note: You will need to provide employment references from your most recent positions, as the client or hiring manager will want to speak directly with your employer or supervisor at the offer stage. We encourage you to apply if you can meet this requirement.
