Director of Residences

Private family is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Residences to oversee the daily operations of their residential and commercial properties in the Southern California and East Coast areas. The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 or more years of professional experience in estatement management, strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality or property management. This role requires exceptional time management abilities and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise property staff, including housekeeping and maintenance teams, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of properties, ensuring they meet established standards of cleanliness and functionality.
• Coordinate event planning for property-related activities, enhancing community engagement among tenants.
• Communicate with the office staff on various activities on the estate for business and social functions.
• Implement effective housekeeping management practices to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the properties.
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of property operations, maintenance needs, and communications

Qualifications

• Proven experience of at least 8 or more years working in managing multiple private estates and commercial properties. 
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in event planning is a plus, contributing to community-building initiatives within the properties.
• Handling the housekeeping management practices to ensure high standards of cleanliness are upheld.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with the principals, staff, and vendors.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and property upkeep.
