Our client is seeking a dedicated Gifting and Operations Specialist for a contract position that offers regular hours and full company benefits. Based in Seattle, this role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in event management, merchandise purchasing, or a related field, preferably with some in-home experience. The position involves managing a high volume of tasks, including purchasing, acquiring items, handling returns, and overseeing inventory management. You will also assist in organizing and executing a variety of events throughout the year, including small dinner parties, special celebrations, and holiday gatherings. Your responsibilities will include procuring decorations and specialty items and clothing, setting up and breaking down events, managing gift purchasing and wrapping, and processing a high volume of returns. 

As a contractor, you will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with the flexibility to adjust your schedule based on event demands. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and operational skills, including calendar and project management, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors. A hands-on approach is essential to ensure that all responsibilities, from inventory management to event execution, are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in administrative, operations, event management, merchandise purchasing, seasonal decor, specialty gifting, HNW family office, organization, or personal services environments
  • Proven experience managing event finances - budgeting, expense reporting, etc.
  • Proven ability in calendar and project management
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and high-volume responsibilities efficiently
  • Experience with communications, writing, and public speaking
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • US passport or equivalent to travel domestically and internationally

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $46.73-$49.09 per hour  | DOE (40 hours guaranteed weekly)
