Position Summary

A busy Executive is looking for a skilled and reliable, part-time House Manager to help care for their 4,500 sq. ft. home, which features a large yard and pool. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining large homes and coordinating household operations with minimal supervision. The Executive is looking for a trustworthy professional who is already overseeing similar residences nearby and has the capacity to take on an additional client.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with and supervise vendors/contractors for regular and on-call home maintenance, repairs, and service appointments.
  • Conduct monthly walkthroughs to identify and proactively prevent maintenance issues, including pool, landscaping and irrigation, HVAC, A/V, plumbing, security cameras, sensory devices, and electrical.
  • Keep track of maintenance schedules for vendors.
  • Regularly update the status of maintenance issues to owners in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing large homes.
  • Must be legal to work in the United States and clear a comprehensive background check.
  • Must be willing to work around dogs as the owners have a senior dog.
