Housekeeper June 1-Sept 15

Position Summary:  We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Seasonal Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining three houses to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. The houses are located on Orcas Island, and the Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and pristine living environment for the residents. Housing is provided on site in a fully furnished modern Airstream trailer. A staff vehicle is provided if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily general and deep cleaning of the interior, keeping the house clean and organized at all times.
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding clothes and linens, ensuring proper care of delicate fabrics.
• Regularly check supply levels and monitor supply closets, bathrooms, etc., keeping the areas organized and restocking supplies as needed.
• Excellent hospitality experiences and enjoys working on a team.
• Support the household with special projects and deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the household manager in a timely manner.
• Be proactive and tend to the small details. Having a passion for organization and a strong attention to detail is a must!
• Must be comfortable with two large dogs and occassionally helping with feeding. 
• Maintain a professional relationship with owners, guests and additional staff. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a Housekeeper in a private household or similar high-end environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining the home. 
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of proper care and handling of fine furnishings, artwork, and delicate fabrics.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and household needs.
• Professional and discreet, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Must have a clean, driving record and a drivers license as well as a clean background check.  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. 

Schedule: We are excited to discuss the opportunity to join our team. Our ideal candidate will work five days a week, primarily from 8a-4pm. We will occasionally ask for additional assistance during a busy time and request that you will stay longer than the typical 8-4 schedule. It’s important to note that days off may not always be sequential, and there might be occasions where we request more than five consecutive days of work. However, we are committed to ensuring that additional days off are provided to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Compensation: Salaried position, monthly wage starting at $6,500 DOE. Hiring for June 1- September 15.
