Housekeeper to Private Estate

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper for a private estate in Los Angeles (Pacific Palisades, CA). The role involves maintaining the kitchen and living room area as the primary focus, with additional responsibilities supporting a team of housekeeping staff across a large, multi-property compound. The ideal candidate is energetic, attentive to detail, and skilled in hospitality and food preparation. This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work independently when needed.

Requirements:  

• Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping experience, including private home and UHNW family environments.  

• Hospitality background, preferably with experience in high-end settings like hotels or resorts is a bonus but not required.   

• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish fluency is a bonus.  

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset.  

• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.  

• Familiarity with inventory management, food preparation, and serving dinner.  

Responsibilities:  

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and living room, ensuring they are prepared for daily use and hosting.  

• Monitor and manage inventory for the kitchen, including stocking supplies and creating shopping lists.  

• Assist with food preparation and provide dinner service support as needed.  

• Collaborate with a team of five housekeepers and assist with tasks across the estate’s properties (located within 1-2 miles).  

• Occasionally work independently during weekends in high-use areas.  

• Support hospitality needs during events, including setup and service.  

• Handle special projects as assigned by the estate manager or principals.  

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours per week) with flexibility for occasional weekend work.  

Compensation: $35-$50 per hour, based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
