FT Live-out Nanny Needed in MetroWest Boston, MA - $40/hr plus benefits!

  • Location: MetroWest Boston, MA
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am-7pm. 2 non-consecutive weekend days per month and flexibility to work earlier than 11am and past 7pm required, with advanced notice given.
  • Children: 3, 5, 8, 10 years old. 5th child expected end of May. Family has another FT Nanny who will share in all childcare duties. The 3 older children attend school full-time, and the 3-year old will be in preschool 5 days/week.
  • Duties: General childcare, including creating and engaging children in educational and age-appropriate activities, getting outdoors as much as possible, driving children to and from activities, light meal prep for children, assisting with homework, tidying up after children, organizing the children's clothes and toys. Family has two housekeepers and cleaning team who handle the deep cleaning and laundry.
  • Requirements: 5+ years of professional childcare/Nanny experience, a clean criminal record, and an excellent driving record. Ideal candidate will be highly organized, loving, extremely reliable, proactive, flexible, patient, and discreet. Must have excellent English communication skills and be able to function as part of a team with parents and other household staff (which includes a FT Nanny, Family Assistant, Property Manager, and Housekeepers/Laundresses). Must have COVID and flu vaccinations. Experience working with high net-worth families a plus.
  • Pets: None
  • Driving/Parking: Driving required. Family will provide a car equipped with all necessary child safety seats to use during working hours. Parking is available.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel with the family a few times per year, including to Martha's Vineyard (where the family spends the majority of the summer) and Aspen, CO.
  • Additional Information: Mother in and out of the house at various points throughout the day and takes an active role in caring for the children as schedule allows; Father works from home in dedicated office space a few days per week. Ideal candidate is able to truly partner with parents and other household staff members to help the children's days runs smoothly. Once the baby is 3-4 months old infant care will transition from a baby nurse to the Nanny team, with the mother remaining heavily involved given she will be breastfeeding.
  • Compensation: $40+ per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 3 weeks of paid time off, paid federal holidays, and a health insurance stipend; Work cell phone and car provided.
  • Start Date: ASAP, with some flexibility if needed
