Lovely family is seeking a professional nanny who is available to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate is looking for a long term role and looking to trial in the next few weeks to determine if the role is right for them and for the family. The current nanny will offer the training to make the transition of her leaving a seamless one.
The family lives in beautiful Puerto Rico with 2 kids ages 7 and a 3.5 year old girl who will both be at the same school starting in September. The father works outside of the home on a demanding but regimented schedule, and the mother works both in and outside of the home with a busy but more flexible schedule, while remaining hands on with the kids.
The candidate is required to readily get up with the kids at 6am, and enjoy the flexibility of perfecting your schedule before the kids are home from school or activities necessary household and family duties completed. A task oriented person with high attention to detail is definitely the right fit for the role as efficiently utilizing time will mean more time to enjoy the beach and personal time. Organizing is required when needed, however the family currently has a team of hourly staff/contractors, including supplemental nanny (part time coverage M_F) 2 housekeepers as well as a maintenace handyman. The house is always tidy and organized and the expectations is for everyone to contribute to keeping it that way.
Work days are six days a week Wednesday to Tuesday afternoon. Daily expectations is to wake with the kids at 6am, and be on the clock till 9am when both kids are out the door. Afternoon coverage from 3pm to 8pm, breaks and assistance are provided by the additonal hourly live out staff. Both kids are asleep by 8pm each evening. 1 full day off per week begins Tuesday at 8pm and resuming monitor coverage Wednesday 8pm (unless Wednesday evening coverage is otherwise arraged with another staff member.
Both domestic and international travel is required, must have a legal work permit in the US.
Salary is competitive and based on experience/ a comprehensive health insurance is provided as part of the employees benefits. 15 days of paid vacation per year to be taken on dates as mutually agreed upon. Preferred dates to be coordinated in advance when family is traveling or grandparents are visiting.
You will have a large master suite in an immaculate home with its own en-suite/ private bathroom, walk in closet, and private patio. Car owned by family is available for use. Must be a GOOD SWIMMER. SPANISH SPEAKING A HUGH PLUS
