A prestigious VIP household is seeking a highly experienced and discreet Live-In Housekeeper/Cook to join their private residence in Kensington, London. This is a long-term position suited for a professional with exceptional skills in laundry care and home cooking, who thrives in a high-standard, service-oriented environment.

 

Responsibilities

Laundry & Wardrobe Management:

  • Expert care of fine garments and delicate fabrics.
  • Proficient in pressing, steaming, and packing clothing for travel.
  • Maintaining wardrobes to the highest standard.

Cooking:

  • Preparing daily meals for the principal with a focus on healthy Mediterranean and other international cuisines.
  • Occasional cooking for small gatherings (up to 10 guests).
  • Meal planning, grocery shopping, and ensuring the kitchen is stocked with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Housekeeping Duties:

  • Cleaning and upkeep of a multi-story residence.
  • Maintaining household organization and presentation.
  • Occasional errand running and driving duties (valid driver’s license required).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar live-in role within a VIP or UHNW household.
  • Excellent knowledge of laundry and wardrobe care.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for international cuisine.
  • Discreet, reliable, and professional demeanor.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Passport ready to travel with the Principal when required (Summer months).
  • Clean driving license and confident driving skills.

Work conditions

  • Accommodation: Private 2-bedroom suite with bathrooms on a separate floor
  • Schedule: Full-time, live-in
