Description

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing, committed long term Montessori Nanny/Governess to provide personalized care and education over time for one child (1.5YO) in the home environment. The ideal candidate will embrace the Montessori philosophy, fostering independence and a love for learning in young children. This role requires a compassionate individual who is skilled in childcare and has experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children.

This opening is specific for a fluent English and Spanish speaking professional who has previously worked on a ROTA schedule.

 

  • Implement basic Montessori methods into daily life while nannying
  • Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
  • Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, hygiene practices, and nap times
  • Plan activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities as well as with off-rotation Lead Nanny
  • Foster independence by encouraging children to participate in self-care tasks
  • Support the development of practical life skills through hands-on learning experiences
  • Extensive domestic and international travel alongside the family

 

  • 10+ Years experience with Nannying, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged children
  • Fluent English and Fluent Spanish Speaking
  • Experience working with a fully staffed household in a HNW/UHNW environment
  • Familiarity and comfort with Montessori principles and methods to implement immediately and ongoing through child's development
  • Strong background in Childcare, including knowledge of First Aid and safety practices
  • Ability to create a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children
  • Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for children
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents
  • Patience, creativity, and adaptability in responding to children's needs
