Description
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing, committed long term Montessori Nanny/Governess to provide personalized care and education over time for one child (1.5YO) in the home environment. The ideal candidate will embrace the Montessori philosophy, fostering independence and a love for learning in young children. This role requires a compassionate individual who is skilled in childcare and has experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
This opening is specific for a fluent English and Spanish speaking professional who has previously worked on a ROTA schedule.
Implement basic Montessori methods into daily life while nannying
Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, hygiene practices, and nap times
Plan activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities as well as with off-rotation Lead Nanny
Foster independence by encouraging children to participate in self-care tasks
Support the development of practical life skills through hands-on learning experiences
Extensive domestic and international travel alongside the family
10+ Years experience with Nannying, particularly with toddlers or preschool-aged children
Fluent English and Fluent Spanish Speaking
Experience working with a fully staffed household in a HNW/UHNW environment
Familiarity and comfort with Montessori principles and methods to implement immediately and ongoing through child's development
Strong background in Childcare, including knowledge of First Aid and safety practices
Ability to create a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children
Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for children
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents
Patience, creativity, and adaptability in responding to children's needs
