OFFICE AND FINANCIAL MANAGER
Chevy Chase, Maryland.
A long-established Washingtonian Private Employer is looking for a full-time, exempt, Office and Financial Manager. This professional leads the day-to-day operations of the family's office, prepares and supervises budgets, payroll, insurance, financial reporting, bookkeeping, record keeping, pays bills, and works in tandem with the Household Manager to support all aspects of the operations of the household and management of properties. The office and household organizational systems have been successfully in place for over 20 years, with a staff of six full-time employees who support the multigenerational family's activities, projects, engagements, and events.
An ideal candidate would have a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, business, or proven work experience as a finance administrator, assistant, bookkeeper, or similar role, including proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Outlook and Excel. Excellent communications, writing and computer skills are essential, as well as flexibility, utmost confidentiality, reliability and honesty. The nature of this position does not allow for remote work, and might require ocassional travel, domestic and abroad. Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
