Our repeat client in New York City has an immediate need for a Weekend Nanny for four children, aged 15, 13, 10, and 7. This role requires someone energetic, reliable, and experienced, who can manage a busy schedule while ensuring the children are well cared for and safe.
Schedule:
- Hours: Saturday 7:00 AM – Sunday 7:00/8:00 PM
- Overnight Stay: Required EVERY OTHER Saturday night.
- Location: New York City (with occasional travel).
Job Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Provide active care, including driving the kids to sports activities, supervising play, and managing daily routines.
- Household Support: Clean up after the kids, manage laundry, and assist with general household tasks.
- Dog Care: Must be comfortable with dogs, including walking, feeding, and providing general care for the family pet.
- Driving: A valid driver’s license is required to transport children to activities, although a personal car is not necessary.
- Cooking: A plus, though not a requirement.
Job Requirements:
- Overnight stay required EVERY OTHER Saturday night.
- Must be highly organized, reliable, and punctual.
- Willingness to occasionally travel throughout the year and spend two weeks at a time in Martha’s Vineyard during the summer.
Compensation:
- Flat Rate: $400 per day (when not sleeping over).
- Overnight Rate: $475 per day (if sleeping over).
