Position Summary:
A lovely executive couple is looking for a full-time, year-round top-notch personal chef to join their staff.
The right candidate will offer a wide range of cuisines, enjoy sourcing the freshest ingredients, and present beautifully plated meals. The couple prefers clean, healthy cooking that supports an active lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
During the summer season and holidays, the couple will entertain frequently at their home with family and guests (think beautiful intimate dinner parties).
During the off season, the Chef will prepare lunches and dinners when they are in their residence and there will be occasional guests.
Provide one staff meal daily.
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree
- Prior experience as a Private Chef for at least one other family in a long-term role.
- Excellent verifiable references
- Experience with a broad range of cuisines
- Abreast of a variety of dietary restrictions
- Strong communication skills in English
- Valid driver’s license
- SERV Safe certification or willingness to obtain
Schedule:
Generally, a Wednesday to Sunday schedule with Monday and Tuesday off. Flexibility required.
Compensation:
Compensation range of $160-000 to $190,000 with an excellent benefits package.
There is an option of live-in housing if the candidate prefers. (Housing is for Chef only, no family or pets).
