Household Dynamic:
The family’s baby is sweet, happy, and thriving in a loving, structured environment. While they’re currently exploring a possible milk allergy, he is otherwise healthy and active. Mom and Dad both work hybrid schedules with separate home office spaces. The household includes one small, hypoallergenic 8-pound dog who loves cuddling but requires no care.
The family values open communication, reliability, and strong experience with infant care. They’re seeking a nanny who can confidently support development through age-appropriate activities and has a keen awareness of milestones. A background in education is a plus, and they appreciate candidates who take initiative and maintain a calm, positive demeanor.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal nanny is caring, communicative, and experienced with infants. A former teacher or someone with a strong understanding of early childhood development is especially encouraged to apply. You should feel confident planning enriching activities, managing routines independently, and collaborating with parents on daily updates. A detail-oriented, proactive nature will go a long way in this role. The family is looking for a nanny who has experience transitioning infants from milk to solids and who can prepare healthy baby food.
Primary Responsibilities:
-
Provide consistent, loving care for the baby throughout the day
-
Plan developmentally appropriate, engaging, and screen-free activities
-
Track milestones and support transitions like introducing solids
-
Prepare and sanitize bottles and make homemade baby food
-
Handle baby’s laundry and maintain an organized nursery
-
Light home tidying, especially child-related areas
Qualifications:
-
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
-
3+ years of professional nanny experience
-
Extensive infant care experience required
-
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before start date)
-
Comfortable with light household tasks and proactive home support
-
Warm, communicative, dependable, and developmentally minded
-
Pet-friendly (no care required)
