Position Title: Experienced Housekeeper
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
Schedule:
Full-Time: Monday – Friday (8 hours per day), with 4 hours on Saturday (only when the family is in residence)
- Flexibility required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- When the family travels for the season and is not in residence, the schedule will be lighter.

Compensation: $72,800 – $83,200 BOE

A warm and delightful couple in West Palm Beach, Florida, is seeking an exceptional, professional, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join their household team. The couple values long-term relationships with their staff and hopes to find someone equally committed to creating a welcoming, well-maintained, and serene home.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the existing Houseman to ensure the home operates seamlessly, proactively anticipate the family’s needs, and demonstrate expertise in all aspects of fine-home housekeeping, organization, and laundry. The candidate should excel in a team-oriented environment, maintain composure under pressure, and embody flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of an ever-changing schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
Full-Service Housekeeping:
- Vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, and overall floor care.
- Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and vanities.
- Hand-wiping wood furniture and ensuring all surfaces (e.g., furniture, blinds, trim, and window ledges) are meticulously dusted and cleaned.
- Washing dishes and changing bed linens regularly.
- Conducting daily walkthroughs of the home to maintain order and cleanliness.
Laundry and Organization:
- General laundry and ironing, including care for fine garments and linens.
- Organizing the home as needed, such as closets, the pantry, and other living spaces.
- Organizing and maintaining the family’s wardrobe.
Light Cooking and Meal Prep:
- Preparing simple meals and assisting with light kitchen tasks as needed.
Stocking and Inventory Management:
- Preparing ongoing shopping lists and ensuring the home remains fully stocked with necessary items.

Requirements:
- Proven work history with stability and strong references.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a fine private home.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as needed.
