Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for mid career or experienced nannies with at least 7 years of experience. This working single Mom has two very sweet boys, 20 months and 12 weeks, and one very busy household! She's looking for a super star nanny partner who has experience working with two children under 2 (or similar) and who is as adept with a newborn as they are with a toddler. She'd love to meet candidates, as she put it, that have knowledge and experience that she does not! Occasionally, Mom travels for work so the ability and willingness to do overnights with notice, on occasion, is appreciated. You will also be required to travel with the family to their second home in Mill Valley, California for 2 months per year (typically 1 month in winter and 1 month in summer). You'll have a private bedroom and shared bathroom provided during these trips and all transportation costs covered.

Mom is looking for a candidate that has the ability to communicate clearly via text / email, can provide proof of current infant CPR certification, is up-to-date on vaccinations, has the ability to travel internationally with current passport and can make a minimum 1-year commitment.

It's $1695 to $1977.50/week, including overtime, (on the books, no exceptions) plus benefits. If you are highly experienced Family Assistant with specialized skills (like Executive Assisting, or similar), a higher rate may be negotiable. Mom is looking to interview quickly and ideally start in mid-April so please apply today.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM - 6 PM Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM The family is happy to guarantee 51 hours/week

Children

Boy, 20 months: Super sweet. Adorable. A toddler! The house is baby proofed for him because he's into everything. He’s into music, he’s into dancing! He's one curious boy. He loves hugs and kisses. He's vocalizing but no words yet. Mom is keeping an eye on him to see if he's a little bit delayed. He'll be in preschool once he hits two! He’s only had one nanny before, so this will be a change for him. He goes to MyGym and has some art classes. Has a little bit of stranger danger but will warm up! He makes deep connections. Really sweet and fun guy. He’s a big kid, he’s 35 lbs.

Boy, 12 weeks: Newborn and currently working with a newborn care specialist. He’s a prolific eater. He's on track to be bigger than his brother! He's sleeping through the night already but it's been hard to get him on a regular daytime schedule. If he's fussy, it's only because he's gassy or uncomfortable or hungry. He’s been a little needier than his brother, but he's really interactive and fun.
