We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Butler / Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations and upkeep of a luxury residence in Los Angeles, CA. Reporting directly to the Principal, this role requires a high EQ and a keen eye for nuance and detail, ensuring that service, hospitality, and estate management meet the highest standards—comparable to a five-star luxury hotel butler experience.
The ideal candidate is warm, genuine, and hands-on, with a no-job-too-big-or-small attitude. They approach their work with artistry and care, effortlessly balancing meticulous service with adaptability. This position requires occasional European travel to ensure seamless service across properties. Special projects and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Estate Management: Oversee the 8,000 sq/ft Los Angeles residence, including the supervision of a housekeeper and external vendors.

Luxury Service & Hospitality: Provide impeccable service standards, ensuring a five-star hospitality experience for the Chairman.

Household Inventory & Stocking: Maintain an organized inventory of food, beverages, and household supplies, unpack deliveries, and notify the Principal when replenishment are needed.

Luggage Management: Pack and unpack the Principal luggage for both business and personal travel.

Travel & Property Preparation: Travel domestically and internationally as needed to prepare residences, restock essentials, and ensure the home is in pristine condition before the Principal arrival.

Light Cooking & Drink Preparation: Prepare coffee, smoothies, salads, light meals, cocktails, and wine selections as requested.

Event & Dinner Party Coordination: Organize small gatherings and dinner parties, coordinating with vendors for tableware, seating, and supplies. Skilled with mixology.

Table Service and Coordination: Know the ins and outs of top-tier table/wine service and seamless coordination with the chef on menu and service.

Driving Duties: Provide chauffeur services to the Chairman for local transportation (restaurants, airports, etc.) and maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and fuel levels).

Expense & Vendor Management: Maintain detailed records of household expenses and vendor transactions, ensuring timely bill payments (utilities, internet, power, gas, cable, etc.).

Property Inspections: Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure the residence remains in excellent condition.

Pet Care: Assist with pet maintenance and care as needed.

Technology & Home Media: Maintain and troubleshoot home technology systems, including televisions, audio systems, internet, and smart devices.

Housekeeping Support: When the housekeeper is unavailable, assist with household cleaning, including:

Dishwashing and kitchen cleanup.

Dusting, vacuuming, and furniture care.

Window and mirror cleaning.

Linen and towel maintenance, including bed-making and laundry.

Trash collection and disposal.
-
Additional Duties: Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

***Formal butler training from a recognized butler academy or luxury hotel training program.

Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and methodical approach.

Expertise in formal meal service, table settings, and luxury hospitality standards.

Culinary knowledge for occasional meal and drink preparation (wine selection, mixology, light cooking).

Tech-savvy, with the ability to troubleshoot home media, smart technology, and entertainment systems.

Pet-friendly and comfortable caring for household animals.

Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and Italian preferred. Must have sufficient English proficiency to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
