EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER 

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, highly meticulous, and dedicated Executive Housekeeper to manage and maintain a private household to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated experience in high-end homes. This individual must be capable of working independently and proactively, ensuring seamless daily operations and impeccable cleanliness throughout the residence. Key Responsibilities:

General Housekeeping & Organization:

  • Independently clean, maintain, and organize all areas of the home, including bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and additional spaces, ensuring a pristine environment at all times using non-toxic, high-quality cleaning supplies.
  • Care for high-end furniture, finishes, and fixtures with appropriate techniques and products to preserve their quality.
  • Maintain neat and organized closets, drawers, pantries, and storage areas.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and organization in managing cabinets, office areas, and household storage spaces to ensure cleanliness, order, and easy accessibility.
  • Identify areas for improvement in cleanliness and organization and address them proactively.

Wardrobe Care, Packing & Unpacking:

  • Manage the care and organization of the principal’s wardrobe, ensuring clothing is properly laundered, pressed, folded, or hung according to best practices for luxury garments.
  • Handle steaming, spot-treating, stain removal, and minor repairs, including care for delicate and high-value fabrics.
  • Maintain footwear and accessories, including polishing and organizing items appropriately.
  • Conduct seasonal wardrobe rotations and audits, identifying items in need of tailoring or repair.
  • Pack and unpack efficiently for travel, ensuring all necessary garments and accessories are accounted for, organized, and in pristine condition. Maintain packing lists and anticipate the principal’s preferences and needs.

Household Maintenance & Supplies Management:

  • Track and manage household inventory including cleaning products, toiletries, and other consumables.
  • Keep storage spaces well-stocked and organized.
  • Identify and report items requiring maintenance or repair and coordinate with appropriate service providers as needed.
  • Run general errands, such as dry cleaning pickup, pharmacy runs, and package drop offs. 

Specialized Cleaning & Care of Fine Goods:

  • Clean and preserve fine items such as china, crystal, artwork, antiques, and other delicate furnishings.
  • Use appropriate methods and products for luxury fabrics, rugs, and upholstery.

Event & Seasonal Preparation:

  • Prepare the home for occasional events by assisting with setup, organization, and post-event cleanup.
  • Support seasonal transitions by rotating wardrobes, preparing guest spaces, and assisting with holiday or seasonal décor.

Discretion & Confidentiality:

  • Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding the principal’s personal life, preferences, and household matters (you will sign an NDA).
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with the principal and any other staff or vendors when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in housekeeping within luxury private residences.
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Expertise in laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care for high-end clothing.
  • Ability to pack and unpack for travel with precision and discretion.
  • Knowledge of high-quality cleaning methods and luxury home care.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and organized with excellent time management.
  • Strong communication and professionalism; able to interact appropriately with principals and vendors.
  • Capable of handling occasional event support and seasonal tasks.
  • Trustworthy with a clean background and excellent, verifiable references.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with an additional half-day on either Saturday or Sunday. Flexibility is essential for occasional after-hours support and travel, as needed.

Location: The position requires the candidate to alternate between Los Angeles and Miami, spending approximately six months in each location per year. Housing will be provided during the Miami assignment.

Compensation:
$40–$50/hour + Overtime | Health Stipend | Paid Time Off | Sick Days
