A prominent private equity firm is seeking a highly skilled and discreet Family Office Director to lead and oversee all aspects of its operations, based in Dallas, TX.

This individual will work closely with the CEO of the firm, ensuring seamless operations across financial, administrative, and personal domains. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional operator with strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities with the utmost professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Liaison – Serve as the primary point of contact between the family office and the CEO, ensuring smooth communication, timely reporting, and proactive support on all matters.
  • Operational Leadership – Oversee day-to-day management of the family office including financial administration, household management, property oversight, and personal services.
  • Team Management – Lead and mentor a high-performing team including a Financial and Technical  professionals ; ensure strong collaboration and accountability.
  • Financial Oversight – Direct budgeting, expense tracking, reporting, and cash flow management across entities and personal accounts; ensure best-in-class financial controls.
  • Property & Lifestyle Management – Manage family residences, vendors, and household staff; oversee maintenance, improvements, and related expenses.
  • Risk & Compliance – Ensure all compliance, tax, insurance, and legal matters are properly handled in coordination with external advisors.
  • Technology & Systems – Implement and maintain systems to streamline operations, reporting, and communication across the family office.
  • Confidentiality & Trust – Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion, integrity, and judgment.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CFA, or JD) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in family office management, wealth management, private equity, or corporate finance.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience implementing and managing office systems.
