Job Title: Private Chef for Ultra-High-Net-Worth Family (with Seasonal Travel)
Location: New York (Primary) | Los Angeles (Approximately 4 Months Per Year) | Occasional Travel to Europe

Job Overview:
An ultra-high-net-worth family of four (two adults, two children) is seeking a highly skilled, professional, and discreet Private Chef to join their household. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fine dining and private service, with expertise in a global cuisines, health focused gluten-free cooking, sourcing the best ingredients, and entertaining at an elevated level.
While based primarily in New York, the chef must be able to travel for extended periods—approximately four months per year in Los Angeles (one month at a time), with occasional trips to Europe. A polished and adaptable approach is essential, as the role involves working in both formal and informal household settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curate and execute exceptional meals (lunch & dinner) with emphasis on presentation, flavor, and dietary preferences.
• Create innovative, seasonal, and diverse menus, accommodating gluten-free low-sugar dietary requirements and other family preferences.
• Prepare a variety of global cuisines, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple locations.
• Comfortably execute high-end dinner parties and intimate family meals with the same level of precision.
• Manage kitchen operations, ingredient sourcing, and inventory across residences.
• Work seamlessly with household staff to coordinate meal service, travel logistics, and event planning.
• Adapt to extended stays in Los Angeles (approximately four months per year) and occasional travel to Europe with all accommodations provided.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a private chef in high end households.
• Expertise in fine dining, table service, and formal etiquette.
• Highly adaptable and detail-oriented, capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
• Discreet, well-groomed, and professional at all times.
• Strong knowledge of gluten-free cooking and baking.
• Versatility in preparing a wide variety of cuisines.
• Comfortable around dogs.
