Looking for full time family assistant/nanny to work Monday-Friday 12-8pm at a residential property. 2 children age 5 and 8

Duties include but are not limited to:

Light cleaning, organizing, pickup and drop off children at school and activities, bathtime help, meal prep, occasional laundry.

Travel with the family 2-3 months out of the year is required. 2 months consecutive in the summer.

Must be bi-lingual English and Spanish. Must have experience working with children. Experience with special needs is a plus. Must have experience in HNW homes.

Along with other requirements:

• Ensure Children’s safety and wellbeing.

• Administer medicines to Children as directed by Attila’s CEO and Children’s mother, Katherine Welch

(collectively, the “Parents”).

• Put Children down for naps and keep a consistent routine and schedule.

• Facilitate sensory exercises with Children as requested by Parents.

• Speak Spanish with Children at all times unless a safety issue arises.

• Screen time is not allowed unless otherwise specified by Parents.

• Laundry for Children and Parents.

• Keeping common areas in Parents’ home clean and tidy.

• Packing Children’s’ lunches/snacks as necessary.

• Giving Children baths, brushing teeth, and clipping fingernails.

• Running errands for Parents when asked

• Keeping playroom organized, game pieces in the correct game, books put away correctly, etc.

• Putting away groceries when delivered.

• Cleaning out the refrigerator and disposing of spoiled food.

• Cooking and meal preparation.

• Kitchen cleanup at the end of the day- all dishes in the dishwasher, floor is swept and clean, counters

wiped down.

• Trash taken out daily.

• Blankets/pillows in common areas and Children’s rooms folded, arranged nicely, pillows and cushions

fluffed.

• Organizing Children’s closets.

• Keeping Children’s bathroom drawers clean and organized

• Wiping down Children’s bathrooms after use

• Light household management duties such as letting in authorized contractor/service personnel (e.g.

cable/telephone repairman, pest control, housekeeping services, etc.), calling service providers, getting

mail, donating household items to Goodwill, organizing areas of the house, as requested and as time

permits.

• Family may request employee to perform household management within her normal working hours when

the Family is away. Duties could include checking on the house, bringing in the mail, doing organizational

or housekeeping projects pertaining to the Children or Family, water plants, etc.

• Driving CEO’s children (“Children”) to/from school and extra-curricular events. If employee uses her

own vehicle to transport Children, she agrees to use the car seats provided by the Family and properly

restrain Children every time riding in a vehicle.

• Travel with family, as requested by Parents. Family will provide as much advance notice prior to travel

as possible. During travel, employee would perform duties similar to those performed at the Parents’

home. Attila would pay for airfare, accommodations, transportation, and reasonable meals/groceries

during travel. To the extent employee is not requested to travel with Family, the employee would work on

special projects in Austin, as requested by Family, during regularly scheduled hours. If employee is

provided the option to attend a particular travel assignment (but Family indicates such specific travel is

not a job requirement), employee would either take PTO, or the time during Family’s travel would be

unpaid time off. While traveling with the family, employee shall not be considered working when

engaging in typical private pursuits such as eating, sleeping, entertaining, and other periods of complete

freedom from all duties. Employee shall be responsible for monitoring, recording, and submitting all

working hours to Attila at least once per week. During travel, employee will be provided no less than one

day off per week (or two days off per week if travel is for greater than two weeks), as mutually agreed

between Parents and the employee. A minimum of 40 hours of work per week is expected, even during

travel periods.

  • It is expected that your job will consist of roughly 50% childcare duties and 50% household duties, although this

may vary widely from week to week or month to month. For example, there may be weeks when you perform no

childcare duties, and weeks where you perform only childcare duties.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
