Boca Raton (East) - A long-established family in the area is looking for a full-time chef.
Work schedule is normally 5 days per week, days or hours when guests are in house, or for events.
Lunch and dinner daily
Shop and stock freezers, pantry, and fresh foods
Prepare weekly menus for Mrs' approval
Family includes children, one has special needs and requires a strict diet
Stock family's snack fridge daily with prepared food
Work is nanny and house staff to coordinate meal times and service. A sous chef may be brought in for guests and caterers for larger events.
Sanitation accountability for kitchens and related areas
The expectation level for served meals is very high, with excellent food and presentation. This is a large property with multiple kitchens.
Requirements include eligible to work in the U.S., formal culinary training, minimum 10 years in a professional kitchen (some Micheline star experience is appreciated), with some years in private service, non-smoking/vaping property strickly followed for family health reasons.
The family travels frequently and may take the chef to their other homes periodically...must be able to travel.
