Position: Human Resources Manager

Summary:
A private family office in the Greater Los Angeles area is seeking a full-time, in-office Human Resources
Manager to oversee all HR and payroll functions across multiple household and professional staff. This role is
ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in private service environments.
Candidates must have prior experience working directly with domestic and household staff and be comfortable
navigating the unique dynamics of a family office setting.
Key Responsibilities:
?Develop and enforce HR policies tailored to both professional and household staff.
?Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and offboarding.
?Handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism.
?Process payroll accurately for multiple pay cycles and classifications across various entities.
?Maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure regulatory compliance.
?Oversee benefits, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
?Conduct investigations and recommend/implement appropriate remedial action.
Qualifications:
?Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
?5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a private service or household setting.
?Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
?Experience working with domestic staff, including hiring, training, and conflict resolution.
?Proficiency in ADP platforms and HRIS systems.
?Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
