About the Family :

We are representing a discerning family in Jupiter, Florida, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Under Butler to join their established household staff. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a passion for providing exceptional service and contributing to a seamlessly run home. This role is crucial in supporting the formal Butler and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and efficiency are maintained.

Position Summary :

The Under Butler will play a vital role in assisting the formal Butler in all aspects of household management. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of formal service, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Under Butler will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the residence, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for the family and their guests.

*Live-out in Florida, family will assist with accommodations until you are settled in Florida.

*Live-in situation in NJ in private estate.

Responsibilities

Assistance with Formal Service :

Assist the formal Butler in providing impeccable service during meals, events, and social gatherings.
Set and clear tables according to formal dining standards.
Serve beverages and food with precision and grace.

Guest Hospitality :

Assist in welcoming and attending to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Prepare guest rooms and ensure they are impeccably maintained.
Assist with guest luggage and other personal belongings.
Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently.

Household Operations :

Assist in overseeing daily household activities to ensure efficiency and organization.
Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the residence, paying close attention to detail.
Assist with the care and maintenance of fine furnishings and antiques.
Assist with laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management.

Inventory and Supply Management :

Manage household supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products.
Maintain accurate inventory records and proactively replenish stock.
Organize and maintain storage areas.

Pet Care :

Feeding, walking and scheduling grooming appointments and vet care.
Caring for dogs when principal is not in residence.

Floral Arrangements :

Create and manage elegant floral arrangements to enhance the aesthetic appeal of dining and home environments.

Security and Emergency Response :

Monitor security systems and be available for emergencies.
Transportation and Scheduling:
Collaborate with Family Assistant, Yacht Captains, and Pilots to ensure seamless travel arrangements for the principal. Oversee the scheduling of drivers and provide transportation for the principal as required.

Inventory and Supply Management :

Manage household supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products.
Maintain accurate inventory records and proactively replenish stock.
Organize and maintain storage areas.
Assist with procurement of household items.

Team Collaboration :

Work closely with the formal Butler and other household staff to ensure seamless coordination.
Communicate effectively and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Follow instructions and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
Assist in training of junior staff as needed.
Run errands and perform other duties as assigned by the formal Butler or family.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Under Butler or in a similar high-service role.
Strong understanding of formal service and etiquette.
