We are seeking an experienced, highly meticulous, and dedicated Housekeeper to join our household and manage and maintain a private household. Working alongside an additional housekeeper, you will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-end homes, an understanding of luxury wardrobe care, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining seamless household operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Housekeeping & Organization:
- Work with the current housekeeper to clean, maintain, and organize all areas of the home, including bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and other common areas, ensuring a pristine environment at all times. Use appropriate, non-toxic, cleaning supplies.
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness of high-end furniture, fixtures, and surfaces, ensuring that all items are well cared for and preserved.
- Assist in organizing household items, keeping closets, drawers, and storage areas orderly.
- Collaborate with the household team to ensure seamless home operations.
- Wardrobe Care & Maintenance:
- Organize and maintain the principal’s wardrobe, including folding, hanging, and storing clothing according to the highest standards of care.
Launder, iron, spot treat and steam garments, ensuring all clothing items are impeccably presented, including delicate fabrics and expensive materials.
- Oversee the cleaning and care of footwear, accessories, and luxury items to ensure they are in top condition.
- Manage regular wardrobe audits, ensuring that items are in good repair and that alterations or tailoring are scheduled as needed.
- Household Maintenance & Supplies Management:
- Ensure all household inventories and supplies are stocked and organized, including cleaning supplies, toiletries, and any other necessary household items.
- Identify and report any household items and any appliances in need of repair to ensure that everything in is working order.
- Specialized Cleaning & Care of Fine Goods:
- Provide specialized cleaning for high-value items such as fine china, crystal, artwork, and other delicate or antique items within the home.
- Take care to follow proper cleaning techniques for luxury fabrics, rugs, and upholstery, preserving their integrity over time.
- Event & Seasonal Preparation:
- Assist in preparing the home for events, including setting up, organizing spaces, and assisting with cleanup afterward.
- Ensure the home is ready for seasonal changes, such as switching out wardrobes, preparing guest rooms, or maintaining outdoor spaces.
- Discretion & Confidentiality:
- Exercise the utmost discretion when handling the principal’s personal items and preferences, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Report any unusual or necessary information about the household to the principal in a professional and respectful manner.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in housekeeping in luxury residential environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with an eye for maintaining high-end furniture, clothing, and items.
- Experience with laundry and dry cleaning, including the care of delicate, expensive fabrics and garments.
- Knowledge of luxury household products and understanding the best cleaning practices for premium materials.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and be proactive in anticipating household needs.
- Discretion and a high level of professionalism, maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with other household staff (e.g., chefs, personal assistants, security.)
- Knowledge of managing luxury goods, clothing, and accessories.
- Experience with managing a wardrobe for a UHNW individual, including organizing, care, and preservation of high-end clothing and accessories.
- Ability to assist in occasional event preparations and coordination within the home.
Compensation Hourly DOE + OT (55-65/hr); Full benefits; 401K + match; PTO
