Full-Time Live-In Domestic Couple or House Manager for Client in Sun Valley, Idaho

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced live-in Domestic Couple or a very experienced House Manager to work at an estate in Sun Valley, Idaho.  This is a full-time and year-round position. The property in Idaho consists of a Main House, a Guest House, A Club House and a Staff Barn.  This is our client’s home away from home with frequent visits during the spring and winter.  This is a wonderful position and would suit an experienced professional English-speaking couple used to managing the properties of ultra-high net-worth individuals.  You will oversee the care of this wonderful property both inside and outside with the utmost attention to detail and professionalism. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• INTERIOR: Cleaning the interior of the home – all aspects of daily routine. Which include but are not limited to: 
• Dusting, Vacuuming and washing floors. 
• Washing clothing, ironing and laundry. 
• Making beds to set standards.
• Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms. 
• Undertaking deep cleaning tasks to maintain high standards. 
• Assisting with the cooking and serving for special event Entertaining.
• Running errands when requested: including grocery shopping, personal shopping, etc.
• Managing and organizing inventory and stock levels of household items.
• Create/Organize and regular updating of supply lists. 
• Preparing for arrival/departure of the family. 
• Caring for household pets-two golden retrievers when in residence. 
• Occassional travel possible to/from Maine. 

• EXTERIOR The immediate home grounds- all aspects of daily routine/checklists.  Which include but are not limited to: 
• Conducting detailed daily inspections of the property to ensure standars are maintained.
• Performing light handyman duties including minor repairs.
• Overseeing vendors and ensuring work is completed to required standards, inlcuding upkeep of appliances, electronics, generator, plumbing, ac units and geothermal heating systems. 
• Performing general outdoor cleaning including routine tasks to uphold the residence's appearance. 
• Provide rapid response outside standard business hours, proactively identifying and addressing repair and maintenance needs.  
• Strong knowledge about smart homes (Crestron), alarm systems, security cameras etc.
• Managing Vehicles, including cars, ATVs, snowmobiles:  updating registration and insurance, vehicle maintenance, etc.
• Handy man skills a plus. 
• Transporting family and guests to and from airport.
• Animal Lovers a must!
• Occasional travel possible to/from Maine.

POSITION OPEN:  Domestic Couple – Live In, Non-Smokers, English language required.

REQUIREMENTS –

• Experience:  Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role within high-end homes with a stable and consistent work history.
• Driver's License:  Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background Check:  Successful completion of a full background check which includes: criminal, motor vehicle, and sex offender background checks

PERMANENT POSITION  – Hours: 40-50 hours per week 5-6 days.                                       

COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES: 

• Salary:  Very competitive based on experience.  Includes full health and dental insurance and discretionary year end bonus. 
• Accommodations: Includes separate living quarters:  a fully furnished 2 bedroom-2 bathroom, plus loft and garage parking.  
• Vacation: 2 weeks year one, 3 weeks upon completion of two years
