Position: House Manager/Personal Assistant

 Location: Indianapolis, IN

 Employment Type: Full-Time

 About Us:

We are a dynamic and busy family seeking a dedicated and experienced House Manager/Personal Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our household and provide personalized support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with discretion and efficiency.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Household Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Indianapolis residence and assist in setting up and managing a new lake home in Tennessee.
  • Supervise household staff and coordinate with service providers to ensure the property is impeccably maintained.
  • Manage household budgets, expenses, and inventories, ensuring cost-effective procurement of supplies and services.
  • Organize and oversee maintenance schedules for all household systems and appliances.
  • Ensure the home is organized, well-maintained, and running smoothly.

 Family Support:

  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements for the husband, including detailed itineraries and accommodations.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistics for children’s educational and athletic commitments, including travel to and from colleges.
  • Manage family calendars, appointments, and events to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Provide care and coordination for multiple dogs, including veterinary appointments and grooming.

 Personal Assistance:

  • Handle confidential correspondence, emails, and communications on behalf of family members.
  • Run errands, including shopping and other personal tasks as needed.
  • Assist in planning and executing family events and gatherings, ensuring all details are meticulously managed.

 Property Management:

  • Oversee the acquisition and setup of a lake home in Tennessee, ensuring it meets the family’s standards and preferences.
  • Coordinate with contractors, designers, and service providers for any renovations or maintenance required.

 Administrative Support:

  • Maintain records of household expenses and manage bill payments.
  • Assist with special projects, research, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Liaise with external professionals, such as attorneys and financial advisors.

 

 Qualifications:

 Experience:

  • Prefer 3-5 years in a similar role in a private household with a clear understanding of household dynamics and expectations preferably with UHNW families.

 Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling and property management software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion.

 Attributes:

 Requirements:

  • Valid IN driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to do some limited travel between properties and assist with family travel logistics.
