Full-Time (Temporary) Chef - Martha’s Vineyard (Summer 2025)
Dates: June 28, 2025 – Labor Day
Our returning client is seeking a skilled, flexible, and professional Chef to join their family for the summer 2025 season on Martha’s Vineyard. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while working in a beautiful setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare lunch and dinner daily, with occasional breakfast.
- Cook for family meals, with the possibility of hosting larger dinner or lunch parties once a week.
- Flexibility to adapt to family preferences for a variety of cuisines.
- Hosting larger lunch/dinner parties 1-2 times per week.
Work Schedule:
- Five days per week (at least one weekend day).
- Two days off each week.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $700+ per day.
- Travel expenses to and from Martha’s Vineyard covered by the family.
- Private accommodations provided.
- Use of one of the family’s cars during your stay.
- A company credit card for work-related expenses.
Requirements:
- US work authorization.
- Satisfactory completion of a background check and pre-employment verifications.
- Execution of the company’s standard Confidentiality & Non-Compete Agreement.
- Must have at least 5+ years working as a Personal | Private Chef in private residences.
Family Details:
- Two adults and four children – ages 16, 14, 11, and 8. The family also has a small dog.
- The family enjoys a wide variety of cuisines and seeks a chef who can provide diverse and creative meals.
