  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, optimize operational costs, and ensure financial efficiency while maintaining the highest safety standards.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Principal to plan and execute fleet expansions, including the introduction of new aircraft and service offerings.

  • Crisis Management: Act as the primary point of contact for critical operational decisions and emergencies, including 24/7 support as needed.

  • Client Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Principal, providing expert guidance on all aviation-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in aviation management and flight department leadership, with a strong focus on Part 91 and Part 125 operations; Part 135 experience strongly preferred.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of aircraft operations (fixed-wing and rotary), maintenance protocols, and FAA safety and regulatory frameworks.

  • Leadership: Proven track record building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

  • Certifications: ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) license preferred; A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certification a plus.

  • Fleet Expertise: Familiarity with Gulfstream (GV/G550/G650), Boeing 767, and helicopter (Sikorsky/Leonardo) operations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
