Children: Four children (ages 4, 6, 8, and 10 – 3 girls, 1 boy)

Schedule:
- Thursday - Monday:
- Monday & Thursday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Tuesday & Wednesday are off (nanny’s "weekend")
- Live-in for weekends (Friday & Saturday nights), live-out for the rest of the week
- Approximately 58-60 hours per week
Compensation: The base salary for this role is $100,000 per year.
Benefits: The family is offering 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses one week), 5 paid sick days, paid major federal holidays, a monthly healthcare stipend if needed, and a generous year-end bonus.
Household Dynamic:
A warm and welcoming family on the Upper East Side is looking for a loving, proactive, and highly organized nanny to support their four children. All children attend school from approximately 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with after-school activities to follow. The role will involve tag-teaming responsibilities rather than full care of all four children at once. The family travels frequently, including regular trips to Connecticut (where most of the summer will be spent) and domestic/international trips approximately five times per year. The nanny must be comfortable traveling and adaptable to new environments. Both parents are actively involved—Dad works full-time in an office, while Mom stays home and will occasionally tag team with the nanny. The family does not eat pork, has no pets, and allows limited screen time for the children.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for a warm, collaborative, upbeat, and highly organized nanny who can balance structure with fun. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and comfortable navigating the city and traveling with the family. Strong teamwork skills are essential, as the nanny will be working alongside additional household staff and the parents. A tech-savvy individual who can use Uber and assist with household admin tasks will be a great fit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide loving, attentive care to the children
- Assist with school drop-off and pick-up
- Transport children to and from activities
- Help with meal prep for the children
- Manage children’s laundry and maintain tidiness in their areas
- Organize and assist with light household tasks
- Assist with general household admin as needed
- Travel with the family, including summers in Connecticut and international trips
Qualifications:
- Experience working with multiple children in a nanny role
- Highly organized, flexible, and proactive
- Warm, engaging, and collaborative personality
- Must have a valid driver’s license (no car needed)
- Comfortable navigating NYC and using Uber
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally with the family
