Our NYC client is seeking a talented, health-focused Private Chef with a deep appreciation for sourcing the highest quality, seasonal ingredients and crafting vibrant, plant-forward meals. They prioritize bold, globally inspired flavors and expect an innovative approach to vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free cuisine—going far beyond tofu to create exciting, nutrient-dense main and side dishes. Creativity in working with fresh produce, legumes, grains, and alternative proteins is key, ensuring each meal is both nourishing and deeply satisfying. Quality food is central to their well-being, and they are looking for a chef who is equally passionate about nutrition and the artistry of cooking. The chef will be responsible for preparing lunch and dinner daily, along with some breakfast and snack prep, bringing thoughtfulness and ingenuity to every meal.

- Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, with some flexibility, as needed

Responsibilities
- Develop and plan and prepare health-conscious, health-supportive, plant-based meals
- Adhere to dietary restrictions
- Handle grocery shopping and kitchen organization
- Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen
- Occasionally aAssist with dinner service, as needed
- Prepare additional snacks and meals for weekendsPrepare snacks and additional food for the weekends and some holidays
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in both private service and high-end restaurants
- Adaptable to client schedules and preferences
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check
- Passport for potential travel
Compensation & Benefits
- $160,000+++ per year | DOE
