Hand-On Household Manager

Executive Housekeeper/Cook

We are looking for a full time/live-on housekeeper/cook for a single gentleman. The principal owns homes in four different locations in the United States as well as a Yacht.  The properties are located in Fort Lauderdale (home base), Connecticut, New York City, and Long Island.   The housekeeper will travel to the other properties a few days before the principal arrives to insure the homes are guest ready.  Here are some of the duties as follows: 

Housekeeping:

• Provide high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout various homes
• Presentation of interior but not limited to flowers/décor arrangement, in line with 5-star hotel luxury standards
• Informing property management of maintenance/repairs needed
• Cleaning and upkeep of living spaces interior and exterior
• Vendor coordination and management (HVAC, Pool, Electrical, etc)
• Laundry duties (ironing, taking various garments to the dry cleaners)
• Making beds (launder, iron, etc)
• Organizing closets
• Keep proper inventory

Stewardess/Buter Service:

• Beverage/snack preparations throughout the day for the principal
• Principal/ guest greetings and attendance to provide luxury and well-timed service and assistance
• Maintaining household security and safety
• Assist in organizing household schedule for smooth internal operations
• Running of household errands as directed
• Professionally dressed and well-groomed 

Dog Care:

• Two feedings per day in the morning and evening.
• Daily walks
• Medical visits
• Bathing
• Administer medicines
• Support of grooming and health requirements
• Support basic behavioral training

Cooking:

• While principal is in residence you will be asked to cook healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• There will be times the principal will be dining out and/or having business meetings.
• This position does not require you to be a professional chef
• Set a nice table
• Serve meals properly
• Communicate with the principal with regards with various menus
• Grocery shop and source fresh ingredients

This is a live-on the property position.  However, if you are from the Fort Lauderdale area you may live out.  You will be living in the second home on the Fort Lauderdale property. 

Salary is based on experience – $7,200 to $8,500 / month plus health insurance and vacation.
