Housekeeper or Yacht Stewardess

Private family is seeking to hire an energetic and polished Housekeeper to assist with day-to-day upkeep of their primary residence in Miami Beach, FL. This is a five-day workweek, roughly eight hours per day, with flexibility for longer hours as needed upon special request. The most successful candidate will have excellent experience with general and deep cleaning as well as service (setting and clearing the table). This role requires to work well with another housekeeper and additional household staff: Private Chef, Estate Manager, Nannies etc.. 

Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 2+ years related experience working in a similar role or as a stewardess on a yacht
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities
• Aptitude to execute informal food and beverage service
• Physically agile; able to navigate an expansive residence
• Drivers License
• Legally able to work in the United States

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (wood, glass, leather, furniture, antiques, silver, brass, etc.)
• Daily cleaning, care, and upkeep of main residence and guest house
• Maintaining residence for guest readiness at all times
• Laundry services and dry-cleaning management as needed
• Hands-on informal food and beverage service
• Additional Housekeeper duties as requested by the principal
