Full-time Nanny Needed in Danville

Household:

• A wonderful, warm, and welcoming family in Danville is seeking a full-time nanny, ideally starting in early June.
• The family has three adorable and easy-going children, with most of the care being for their youngest who is 2 years old. She loves books, playing outside and going to the park, and playing with her siblings.
• Their 6-year-old is finishing kindergarten and their 4-year-old attends a part-time preschool program and will start a full-day TK program in August. They are both very sweet and social and love drawing, art projects, playing outside, and imaginative play.
• The family lives in a serene and walkable neighborhood in a one-story rancher home with parks nearby. 
• They value longevity, seeking a long-term nanny to join their household for many years.
• Both parents have busy careers, with dad working outside the home and mom mostly working outside the home. When they’re not working, they truly love spending time with their children and together as a family.

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is loving and nurturing who genuinely cares for children and enjoys caring for siblings.
• A collaborative and reliable individual who takes the lead on planning fun, educational, and engaging activities and who is invested in the children’s wellness and needs, including supporting their educational development like assisting with homework and learning ABCs.
• A team player who shares feedback and ideas, a strong communicator, and is consistent and dependable.
• Spanish-speaking is preferred but not required.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive childcare, including picking up children from school and managing their daily schedules.
• Perform household tasks related to the children, such as laundry, dishes, meal/snack preparation.
• Engage the children in activities like arts, outdoor play, imaginative play, and planning fun indoor and outdoor activities. 
• Maintain a tidy and organized home environment related to the children and assist with emptying the dishwasher.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience with at least three excellent references.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong driving record.
• Can make at least a one-year commitment
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
