An East Bay area family is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties and manage all aspects of estate life, including property maintenance, household staff supervision and various administrative tasks. This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to anticipate and fulfill the unique needs and preferences of the family.

*** This role is hybrid in the near-term, with an expectation to relocate to the Las Vegas, Nevada area in Spring 2025. ***

Job Requirements:

  • Must have experience with orchestrating all aspects of a large state to state move.
  • Must have a clear understanding and experience in setting up and managing a large estate.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the family's estate, including buildings, grounds, and amenities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to household operations, including inventory, schedules, and contracts.
  • Manage the household budget, including expenses for maintenance and household supplies, and process payments to various vendors.
  • Ensure all properties have appropriate security measures in place to ensure the family's safety.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the family, addressing their needs, concerns, and preferences with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain and manage schedules of the principals, including appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Arrange and coordinate travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
  • Supervise, train, and coordinate household staff. Create staff schedules and ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure the timely registration, insurance, and maintenance of all family vehicles. Keep accurate records of all vehicle-related matters.
  • Assist in planning and managing private events, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Estate Manager or similar role for a high-net-worth family.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the family, their guests, and staff.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

 Compensation and Benefits:

  • $150,000-$175,000 per year | based on several factors including but not limited to the applicant’s skills, work experience, knowledge, abilities, education, etc.
