Job Summary:

A private family is seeking an experienced and professional Domestic Couple to manage the daily operations of their estate in Bethesda, MD. This live-in position requires a couple with strong house management, deep cleaning, and organizational skills to oversee the housekeeping staff, as well as cooking abilities to assist with meal preparation and entertaining when the family is in residence.

Responsibilities:

House Management & Housekeeping

• Oversee and manage household operations to ensure the smooth running of the estate.
• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Perform hands-on deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management.
• Maintain household inventories, including groceries, supplies, and personal items.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers for household maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and personal requests for the principals.

Cooking & Entertaining

• Prepare meals as needed, following family preferences and dietary requirements.
• Assist with formal and informal entertaining, including meal service and table setting.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring proper food storage and hygiene.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle management, including fueling, cleaning, and servicing.
• Handle household security and general upkeep of the estate.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working as a Domestic Couple in a private household or estate setting.
• Strong house management and housekeeping skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to supervise and train household staff.
• Proficiency in cooking and meal preparation for the family and guests.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work discreetly and professionally, respecting family privacy.
• Flexibility to accommodate the family's needs, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid US Work Authorization
