We are seeking a warm, intelligent, and highly capable nanny with significant newborn experience to join the family in Miami, Florida, US and play a foundational role in the early years of child's life. We are looking for someone who will become a long-term member of household and help raise the children with love, structure, creativity, and adventure. This role will initially focus on the comprehensive care of a newborn, requiring expertise in infant development, feeding, sleep training, and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will be flexible and enthusiastic about frequent travel, primarily within Europe, aligning with our family's lifestyle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care for a newborn from infancy and beyond, with a strong emphasis on newborn-specific needs and milestones.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of newborn care, including feeding (breast and/or bottle), establishing healthy sleep patterns, managing colic or reflux, and understanding infant cues.
  • Foster a strong emotional bond while instilling values, boundaries, and consistency from a young age.
  • Plan and lead engaging daily routines, educational play, outdoor activities, and outings appropriate for a newborn and young child's developmental stage.
  • Manage school pickups/drop-offs, playdates, and extracurricular coordination as the child grows.
  • Accompany the family on frequent travels on many different countries, providing consistent and high-quality care for the child in various settings.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the child, including nursery, play areas, and travel accommodations.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents on all aspects of the child's care and development, maintaining open and honest communication.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child as they grow, adhering to any dietary needs or preferences.
  • Handle light childcare-related household tasks.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to the family's dynamic and travel schedule.
  • Maintain discretion and respect for the family's privacy.

Requirements

  • Significant and verifiable experience as a newborn nanny, with excellent references.
  • Deep understanding of infant development, milestones, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Proven ability to establish healthy sleep routines and manage common newborn challenges.
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for frequent international travel, particularly within Europe.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
