Butler and Service Manager

A busy private family is seeking a professional, organized, and proactive Butler to oversee service across their properties in NYC and South Hampton. This position requires a proactive approach and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle everything from opening packages to sophisticated guest interactions, embodying warmth and professionalism
• Expertise in table setting, floral arrangements, and food/beverage service (comfortable with both formal and informal)
• Responsible for packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring smooth transitions between homes
• Flexible to travel, as needed, internationally and domestically to prepare separate residences for visits, stocking food, ensuring cleaning standards are met, etc
• Collaborate closely with family office staff and other household employees to ensure seamless operation and communication within the home
• Organizing and executing service and experience for family dinners and special events
• Facilitating and fulfilling all family requests in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of recent experience in a well-organized private residence or yacht
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a positive, collaborative team mentality
• Expertise in fine dining etiquette, wine service, and housekeeping standards
• Discreet and trustworthy with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
