Full-Time Nanny Needed in Yuma, CO
A welcoming family in Yuma, Colorado is seeking a reliable, warm, and proactive full-time nanny to care for their two young children. This is a great long-term opportunity for someone who truly enjoys supporting a family and engaging children through all stages of early development.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional half days weekly.
Start Date: Anytime ASAP through August 1, 2025
About the Children: The family has two children: an active & sweet three year old girl who will be attending preschool four half days a week in the fall, and a happy baby boy turning one this summer. Both children follow consistent nap schedules and benefit from a nurturing, patient, and encouraging approach- especially with positive redirection and developmental support like potty training.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care and enrichment
- Maintain a tidy environment (light cleaning related to the children, including laundry)
- Run errands and occasional grocery shopping as needed
- Support the daily flow with structure, play, and calm consistency
Ideal Candidate: The family is looking for someone who communicates clearly, brings energy and a positive attitude to their day, and is interested in building a long-term working relationship. A background in early childhood education or experience in structured childcare settings is a plus but not required.
Compensation: $20- $25/hour, $42,000- $52,000/year
This family may be able to offer a live-in arrangement later in the year (targeting October 2025). For now, this position is live-out.
