Full-Time Family Assistant/Household Manager – San Francisco

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 per year + PTO + Full Medical Benefits

A busy and dynamic family in San Francisco is seeking a reliable, highly organized, and proactive Family Assistant/Household Manager to maintain balance, organization, and harmony within the home. This role requires an individual who can balance logistical tasks with the family’s operational needs, offering both support and structure. Discretion, intuition, and professionalism will be key in ensuring the family’s needs are met efficiently and effectively.

As a vital part of the household, the ideal candidate will excel in managing schedules and household operations while fostering strong, trust-based relationships with the family. A calm, positive attitude, flexibility, and emotional intelligence will be crucial to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar & Scheduling: Manage family and household calendars with foresight and reliability. Ensure appointments and commitments are handled smoothly by being proactive and mindful of family preferences.
  • Travel Planning: Thoughtfully arrange domestic and international travel, considering the needs of the family and making their travel experience seamless and enjoyable.
  • Household Organization & Management: Maintain a welcoming and efficient household environment. Your organizational skills will help ensure everything runs smoothly, creating a comfortable space for all.
  • Vendor & Team Coordination: Serve as the main liaison between the family and household staff, vendors, and service providers, ensuring that operations are smooth and relationships remain positive.
  • Event & Activity Planning: Assist with family events, activities, and engagements, ensuring that everyone’s needs are anticipated and attended to with care.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion, creating a trusting and respectful environment.
  • Errands & General Support: Assist with shopping, returns, and personal tasks as needed, always keeping the family’s needs and preferences at the forefront.
