Full-time Live-in Housekeeper job offer in Nurai Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE

 

A British family on Nurai Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced and proactive live-in housekeeper for their luxurious 6-bedroom villa.

The property serves as a holiday home for family and guests, with periods of both high activity and quiet downtime.

The ideal candidate will be highly attentive, quick-thinking, and confident in managing day-to-day responsibilities. They should be comfortable working independently or alongside others, have a clear understanding of English, and take pride in delivering excellent service while ensuring the home is well-maintained and welcoming at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas within the villa, including bedrooms, living spaces, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.
  • Work in collaboration with other household staff, including the gardener, chef, and additional housekeeping/kitchen staff.
  • Ensure all laundry and ironing duties are completed efficiently.
  • Manage and assist with the preparation of rooms for guests during busy periods.
  • Take initiative in ensuring that the villa is well-kept even during periods of low occupancy.
  • Handle any other housekeeping tasks as required by the family.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a similar environment.
  • A clear and strong understanding of English.
  • Ability to use initiative and demonstrate good common sense.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to the changing needs of the household and its guests.
  • Ability to work independently and take pride in maintaining the villa.
  • Candidate must already be residing in the UAE and be available for local interviews and trial periods.

Work conditions

  • Work Hours: Full-time with flexibility required.
  • Work Schedule: 6 days a week, one day off.
  • Accommodation: Live-in, accommodation is provided.
  • Start Date: To be filled ASAP.
  • Benefits: Visa sponsorship, medical insurance, and a flight ticket.
  • Salary: Up to AED 15,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
