Location: Teaneck, NJ
Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am - 3pm; Friday 9am - 4pm (35 hours)
 

About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to manage the upkeep of a large, four-story home. The ideal candidate will have experience in true kosher meal preparation, be physically fit to navigate multiple flights of stairs, and be capable of maintaining the home’s extensive hardwood floors. A calm demeanor and respect for boundaries are essential, as is the ability to work in a scent-free environment due to family allergies. The family consists of four children and no pets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness across all four floors of the home.
• Kosher Meal Prep: Assist with light kosher food preparation, ensuring adherence to kosher dietary laws.
• Driving: Handle driving responsibilities as needed for errands.
• Allergies: Work in a strict scent-free environment (no smoking, perfume, or other scents) due to severe family allergies.
• Reliability: Consistently show reliability in attendance and task completion.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a housekeeper in large homes, with a strong understanding of kosher practices.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to move efficiently throughout a four-story home.
• No Scents: Must not use or wear perfumes or scented products.
• Driving: A valid driver’s license and ability to drive for errands.
• Calm & Professional: Maintain a calm demeanor, respect boundaries, and handle tasks with professionalism.
