We are working with a Kosher family in New York City that are looking for a full-time live out chef who is able to travel to the Hamptons and the Catskills as needed. This is a five day work week with two days off depending if it’s over the summer, the days off may be Sunday and Monday or Tuesday Wednesday. This is a family of eight cooking dinners on the weekdays and then Friday and Saturday Shabbat dinner for up to 20 people. They are looking for a chef who is New York City based lives in the city, Brooklyn or Queens area with about a 30 minute commute max. They’re looking for a chef who has a minimum of 10 years experience and working in a kosher kitchen is a must. The chef must have a lot of experience with farm to table. They are looking for someone who can cook clean and healthy meals, including chicken lots of vegetables, meats and fish. They’re looking for someone who takes direction well from the client who is open to suggestions on styles and ways of cooking, and of course the taste of the food, someone who is easy-going, adaptable, and works well in a fully staffed home. salary offered is 120,000 per year.
