Full-Time Live-In Nanny | Texas/California

A warm and travel loving family is seeking a full-time live-in nanny to join their family caring for their 3-year-old daughter and infant son. The position will begin in March. When in Texas at their home base, the general daily schedule will be Monday through Friday split shift, a few hours in the morning and then in the afternoons/evenings. Currently both children attend school 8am-4pm, however, the hours will decrease for the baby's school day once a nanny is in place. The family asks for some flexibility for night and weekend coverage with notice if they have a social or work event. They spend the summer in Orange County, spring break and winter holidays in Palm Springs, and plan various trips throughout the year. When traveling the schedule will be a more traditional 8-10 hour day. In each location the nanny will have their own private bedroom and bathroom.The parents hope to find a career nanny who can engage their children in developmentally appropriate and educational activities. The family is kind and welcoming and seeks the same in their nanny. They have stayed in contact with previous caregivers and deeply value this role. 

• Full childcare; Providing a warm and loving environment while maintaining respectful boundaries and promoting independence.
• Transportation using provided nanny car to activities, play dates, and outings including pick-up and drop-offs at school 
• Coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
• Helping with meal preparation and cooking for the children 
• Managing the tidiness and organization of the child's spaces and belongings 
• Child-related laundry 

• The parents are actively involved, so you must be a team player and also know how to read a room 
• Pitch-in attitude and a proactive and positive personality
• Organized and one step ahead especially with travel
• Excited to work with these ages, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next
• Easy going personality, able to roll with changes, and adapt quickly to different environments 

• Confident swimming skills (pool) 
• Comfortable with a large friendly golden retriever 
• Travel ready: experienced traveling with families and current passport 
• Driver’s license and clean driving record (nanny car provided)
• Professional/career nanny who knows how to maintain boundaries and able to navigate being in a live-in role
• Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.)
• Team player with excellent communication
• Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certifications (or be willing to update them ASAP)
• Legal to work in the US

Highly competitive pay depending on experience plus standard benefits and health insurance stipend or coverage
